All translations are subject to proofreading. This is a final check and correction procedure, which includes polishing the text, verifying the field-specific terminology (business, legal, medical, technical, etc.) and ensuring its consistency.
Certified translations usually need to be presented in a printed hard copy with our official stamps. You can pick up a printed copy at our offices or have it sent by a courier directly to you.
PRICES
We strive to tailor the best quote for each job, for you to receive a translation that suits your needs and budget. The price is determined based on several factors:
A standard translated page contains 1,800 characters with spaces (1,500 characters without spaces) or 30 lines of 60 characters per line (translation standard BDS EN ISO 17100:2015). The project price is calculated based on the total number of characters of the final translation (Word Count/characters with spaces). NOTA BENE: The number of physical pages of your document may not be equal to the number of pages charged.
We always try to meet the deadlines you require. Jobs with more flexible completion times are charged at a lower price. Conversely, urgent translations imply extra fees for overtime, for working during weekends and holidays, for synchronizing the work of several translators, etc.
• Regular service – 3-4 business days (up to 10 pages)
• Fast service – 24 hours (up to 5 pages)
• Express service – up to 4 hours (under 5 pages and after confirmation)
The laws of supply and demand dictate higher prices for translation into some languages than others. It is no surprise that a translation from English would cost less than a translation from Norwegian to Bulgarian.
Documents with technical, medical and specialized content imply a higher price and longer completion time compared to birth certificates, criminal records and other short, template texts. They also require higher expertise of the translator.
Interpreting
NB! In many cases, when foreign nationals sign official documents in Bulgaria, the presence and signature of a certified ("sworn") interpreter is required.
We match the most qualified interpreter with each project making sure that he/she has the necessary competence, qualifications, and proven experience.
PRICES
Price is set per hour (one hour being the minimum). It varies based on the number of interpreters, language pairs, specifics and total duration of the assignment.
Request an interpreter when notarizing real estate transactions, motor vehicle title transfer paperwork or powers of attorney, affidavits and other documents. We will promptly provide you with a certified interpreter to the required language.
If you are a tourist or foreigner residing in Bulgaria, you can hire an interpreter to visit any institution: the police, the court, the Migration Service, Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Revenue Agency, etc.
This is an interpretation done after the speaker has finished their speech or sentences at business meetings, official openings, seminars and other public events in front of a small audience.
This is an interpretation in real-time with minimum delays by using special technical equipment and devices (microphone, headphones, booth).
